Liberty

Liberty is the county seat of Liberty County on the Trinity River, one of Texas's oldest settlements dating to the early 1800s. Located about 47 miles northeast of Houston along SH-146, the city offers historic character, affordable riverfront living, and serves as the administrative and civic center for Liberty County with access to the Trinity Bay and Big Thicket region.
